What I'm Loving At Home

Life is weird, let's be honest. Adjusting to this new normal has made me appreciate self-care more than ever before. We see posts all over Instagram about how 'self-care isn't selfish' and it can seem cheesy. But truthfully, if you don't put your oxygen mask on first, how can you help the person next to you? I know I can be extra AF when it comes to self-care. It's how I wind down. How I get off social media. How I feel my best self. So I've accepted it. I love taking care of myself at home! I wanted to put together some things I love that I think you will too.

Skincare: Duh. My skin has been a nightmare in 2020. But that doesn't stop me from taking care of it and seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. If I don't take care of my skin it's even WORSE than it already is. I'm currently on acne medicine and doing a simple skincare routine that keeps me clean, fresh, and relaxed.

My Bedroom:  I know it sounds simple, but I love having my own space. Keeping my room clean and cozy keeps me sane. It's so easy to rearrange furniture, get a few new blankets and candles - boom, new room. Your space is so sacred. Make it perfect! I got a new bookcase so I can really organize and keep my journals and work in one place. I created a nook with some new decor to get out of my bed! And linked my favorite recent purchases below.

Self Care: A broad category yes, but let me explain. With this time, I've been trying to figure out what I really love and what brings me joy. Keeping myself on track with my health does that. Learning new things and reading does that. I bought all new journals and books to keep me busy. I'm building new habits to help me grow even more throughout this difficult time. I also love my sober drinks to wind down. Here are my favorites I recommend for you below.

That's what I'm currently loving. Let me know on Instagram how you're taking care of yourself at home right now.
